Then came the pressure, from her single mother and her relatives, to quit studies and to take up a job as her sole bread winner mother was having some health issues. Komal was really stressed with this pressure but, she was really keen and determined to pursue her studies. She approached her mentor, Soumya and expressed her wish to become a Nutritionist and not be a drop out. Over a couple of interactions, Komal sought help in securing a part time job. She convinced her mother that she would bring money into the family while pursuing studies. Soumya, Komal’s mentor and Goal Guide, brought this up with the Goal Guide Falicitator. This matter was then put to the Goal Guide committee by the Facilitator. When her CV was sought, Soumya fine-tuned Komal’s CV and this was sent to some contacts. She got a part time job which requires her to put in four hours every day. Ishva then helped her secure a computer. Today, Komal is pursuing her studies unhindered and is also being appreciated for her part time work. Komal’s story gives us some pointers.
