Sravanti Shines Bright with 69th Rank in NIFT Entrance Exam

My name is Sravanthi, I finished my intermediate. My father is a painter and mother does house keeping. I have one younger sister, she’s currently doing her intermediate second year. Our family lived more than 20 years in Hyderabad. I always been drawn towards art’s or anything related painting since my young age. Fashion Designing was my first career stream that I chose and never had a second thought.

I was always been active kid of our family. All the self-confidence I used to have as kid, faded away as I grew up. I was been silent, polite and obedient student of our class but shy to express myself and come forward for any activity. I joined ishva in my 6th grade, it was hard for me to socialize but made pretty good friends. I use to be a regular student and never missed any of my favourite classes like drawing, English/story telling, short classes. I used to learn new things very Saturday that are drawing classes which helped me improve a lot. I took my active part in every painting or drawing competitions. I spent most of my time painting and I realised that I will never get bored of it. I decided whatever job I do in future, it should be related to what my passion is for. After five years with ishva I got faith in my choice. My schooling was over in 2021, intermediate was something different than I thought.

People are tough to interact with, I had most traumatic days in my first year of intermediate. In second year things started to become bearable. I started to attend classes in Gachibowli for sketching which helps me to get through the up coming entrance exams. Suddenly started feeling uneasy about life, the goal is clear and efforts are made but still unsure. After the first round results of nift college I got some hope on myself.

Worked sincerely hard for second round exam. On the other hand prepared equally good for intermediate finals. Even though the both exams dates were over lapped I gave my best and thankfully received good results for both of them. When I received my nift last round results I felt proud more than happiness.

I felt so proud of myself that I’m not only full of words but actions too. I proved myself to my family that I’m worth it. My teachers played really important roles in my journey and guiding me through this path. This is the path I chose and I never regret walking in it.
