Once upon a time, there was a boy named Ravi. Ravi often felt bored because he didn’t have much to do. One day, a magical fairy visited him. The fairy asked, “Do you always feel bored?” Yes, I do!
The fairy smiled and said, “You need something fun to do. How about verbs?”
Ravi asked, “What are verbs?” The fairy explained that verbs are action words that make things happen.
The fairy opened a box and out flew lots of papers with verbs written on them. Ravi began to catch them excitedly. He caught words like “dance,” “sing,” “swim,” “run,” and many more.
With his new verbs, Ravi got so many ideas..he knew what he could do! He was so happy- he jumped and he clapped, he jumped and he clapped.
Ravi started to dance around his room- Dhin dhakak, dhin dhin dhakak, dhin dhin dhakak, dhin dhin. Then he sang his favorite songs loudly- la la la la la la…. After that, he went outside and swam in a pond. He splashed and played in the water, feeling happy- Splish splash, splish, splash. He was so thirsty now. Guduk Guduk Guduk he drank some water.
He was hungry too.. Labak labak labak labak.. He ate not 1 not 2 but 4 ladooos.
Later, he took a walk in the forest. He walked through tall grass…swishy swoshy swishy swoshy..he walked and he walked and as he did that, he listened to the birds.
By the end of the day, he was tired and not BORED!! He told his mother all that he did, and about the fairy and also about the verbs that put him into action. From that day on, Ravi was never bored again. He used his verbs to do all sorts of fun things every day. And he lived happily ever after.
